Jess is a Mumpreneur on fire !

We’re delighted to be able to share the news that Jess is going to be a published author very soon! Jess is a member of Mum’s in Business Association (MIBA), a networking group that’s designed to meet the needs of Mums in business. (We’ll hazard a guess that it was obvious from the name.)
Mumpreneur on Fire
‘Mumpreneur on Fire 3’ is their latest publication, featuring inspirational stories from just a few of their 24,500 members around the world. Jess will be sharing her story of building Risk Kitchen around our young family. She’ll be joined by other business women with different services and a diverse range of backgrounds. We don’t mind admitting that we’re looking forward to reading the other chapters. The more experience we gain, the more we realise there’s lots to learn from other businesses.
The first two volumes of ‘Mumpreneur on Fire’ each featured stories from Mums who built successful businesses against the odds. These amazing women faced mental health issues, bereavement and even murder but refused to let it stop them. It’s quite an honour to be included in that sort of company, not to mention a bit nerve wracking! That said, it’s a great opportunity for us to be able to share the ethos behind Risk Kitchen and let people know that insurance doesn’t have to be scary. Both of the earlier books reached number 1 in the Amazon best seller lists so we hope this one can do the same.
The history of MIBA
MIBA was created in June 2017 by two sisters, Estelle Keeber and Leona Burton. Leona has 5 children whilst Estelle is a solo mum of two. They founded MIBA to help other Mums in business as they realised there was a real lack of support for women building businesses whilst caring for their families. Since their first meeting in Leicester in August 2017, they’ve gone from strength to strength. Their child friendly networking events now take place all over the UK and even as far afield as Barbados and Australia. Jess has really valued connecting with other women who understand the challenges associated with combining business and family life. Risk Kitchen wouldn’t have come about if we hadn’t wanted to create a business that worked around our children. It’s great to network with other people who feel the same way.
‘Mumpreneur on Fire 3’ is due to be published in September 2018 and will be available exclusively on Amazon. We’ll keep you posted about opportunities to pre-order. If you can’t wait that long, the first two books are still available on Amazon and are well worth a read. You can order the second book via this link: http://bit.ly/mof2promo.
We’re looking forward to the launch and can’t wait to hear what you think!
